UPDATE: Selfridges’ Disney Store Curated Collections Explained

Slowly but surely, Disney Store has started expand beyond their web presence, rebooting their physical stores with new partner retailers.

In the United Kingdom, that means a stand-alone location at Westfield White City, and locations at all four locations of the prestigious Selfridges department store.

DisKingdom previously reported that their London location opened a Disney Store recently, which will remain open through the holidays. But the “Curated collections” promised for Selfridges Manchester Trafford (newly opened), Birmingham (opening on October 13), and Manchester Exchange (on October 13) were a bit of a curosity.

Disney Store has provided an update on those additional locations:

The Birmingham and Manchester stores will have a smaller footprint than what can be seen at the London flagship store as these are managed by Selfridges, but the collection will focus on plush, pins, headbands and will also feature the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort SkinnyDip collections that are due to launch imminently.
