“Prop Culture” Yanked a Second Time by Disney
Disney Plus series Prop Culture was making a comeback on YouTube, courtesy of co-producer Dan Lanigan. The series was pulled off the streaming service a few years after it was one of the earliest original series. Dan has a still nascent YouTube, featuring new segments, but he was posting one complete episode each Saturday.
If Disney wasn’t showing the program, why should he, the argument went?
Sadly, “the show has once again been buried in the vault (or maybe a landfill under the Haunted Mansion,” Lanigan shares. The company asked for the program to be removed from YouTube, and just like that, it’s gone again.
As a farewell, Lanigan’s Cinema Relics channel has posted a highlight reel, never seen publicly before now, edited by producer Will Simpson.
As reported by DisKingdom, Lanigan had posted The Chronicles of Narnia and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids episodes.
Fans were disappointed.
Shows like this were what made Disney plus special. I was waiting for more episodes. Now I’m just sad
This was one of the best reasons to have Disney+, I can’t believe they didn’t continue the series.
