BACKSTAGE: Disney Cruise Line Performers Test New Shows

It takes a lot to put on a show at sea, so Disney has a facility in downtown Toronto with an astounding 19 practice facilities.

The Canadian space has been seen publicly before. Earlier this year, for instance, there was media availability for the new Hercules show, and Disney Parks YouTube shared its own video with rehearsal puppets and props.

But Walt Disney Imagineering one-upped that this afternoon. In an eight-minute wander, we see practice for Aladdin and Hercules, with the dancers, actors, and singers perfect what they’ll bring to the stage at sea.

The practice centre is in the basement of the Canadian Broadcasting Centre, according to Playbill.
