Review: The Child Star Wars Black Series Figure

Today, I take a look at a Star Wars Black Series released last year, celebrating a character that took the world by storm when The Mandalorian premiered on Disney+ in November, 2019. Perhaps the smallest Black Series release I have ever purchased, here is The Child.

 

When I say small… I mean small. For comparison, here is the figure beside a JFK half dollar.

 

Even though he is small, The Child still has a few articulation points, including neck and shoulders.

 

As far as accessories go, The Child comes with a few recognized from Season 1 of The Mandalorian. First up is a frog that I hear is mighty tasty. Next is a soup bowl. Lastly, there is the controller knob from the Razor Crest ship… which The Child was infatuated with.

 

Overall, I think this a great addition to my Star Wars collection. Perfect shelf sitter with my few other Black Series figures.
