Disneyland Fans Panic that Mickey “Changed” to have Eyebrows: Design Unchanged since at least 2004

Perhaps its the disappearance of FastPass, but Disneyland California fans are on edge. The beloved Mickey garden at the front gate has been changed, and the gardeners have added eyebrows. The Facebook group Vintage Disneyland is lit up with furor over the change.

Whose fault is it? Bob Chapek? Newbie gardeners? It is a Halloween promotion gone wrong?

None of the above.

The garden hasn’t changed its design since at least 2004, as evidenced by a video posted by Disney Parks in 2013.

But Mickey doesn’t have eyebrows!

In most animated productions, Mickey doesn’t have eyebrows. But no less than Walt Disney himself was a-okay with him having them in the park.In one of the most frequently used shots of the man and his mouse, the character has eyebrows. Current PR photos? Eyebrows.
