Voice of Disney Afternoon Coming to Fan Expo Canada

Jim Cummings is coming to Fan Expo Canada in Toronto this summer, the event recently confirmed.

The veteran voice actor figured heavily into Millennial childhoods, voicing Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Pete, Don Karnage, Louie, Darkwing Duck, Monterrey Jack, Bonkers, and Detective Lucky Piquel in various Disney Afternoon series, and King Triton, Zummi Gummi, Taz, Shredder, Dr. Robotnik, and others on a variety of other series. In recent years, credits include Hondo Ohnaka in a variety of Star Wars projects.

He’s now the host of Toon’d In with Jim Cummings, a podcast launched in 2023, where he interviews other voice actors and people in pop culture. Co-hosted by his stepson, Christopher Judge, the podcast has recorded live episodes at Fan Expo events across the continent this year. No announcement has been made on who Jim will be speaking with in Toronto.

Recent podcast guests include Sam Witwer, voice of Darth Maul for a variety of animated television series and the film Solo. He’ll be appearing at Fan Expo Canada as one of three actors from the current Disney+ series Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord.

Tickets to the convention are still available. The event runs August 27 to 30 at Metro Toronto Convention Centre, just a short walk from Toronto Union Station.
