Disney Developing Young Merlin Movie

Disney are currently working on making a new movie based on “Young Merlin” and is being written by Philppa Boyens, who co-scribe of the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy.  The movie is part of “The Merlin Saga” from author T.A. Barron, with Gill Netter producing. Tendo Nagenda and Foster Driver are overseeing for the studio.

Disney are also making a live-action adaptation of “Sword in the Stone”, which focuses on a young King Arthur and his adventures with a older Merlin and is being developed with “Game of Thrones” scribe Bryan Cogman.
