Shopping in Epcots World Showcase at the Morocco Pavilion

Located between the France and Japan Pavilions lies the beautifully detailed Morocco Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. The Morocco Pavilion which opened in 1984 was the last country to open at Epcot and it was well worth the wait.

With intricately designed narrow and meandering passageways, detailed shops and locally themed music that can let ones imagination transport themselves to the country of Morocco.

As you approach the Morocco Pavilion the first thing that comes to view is a beautiful recreation of the Koutoubia Minaret, a prayer tower in Marrakesh followed by the wonderful themed Moroccan music that entices the brain and the imagination you are now being transported to the country of Morocco!

Continue into the entrance that leads into the meandering and narrow streets of a local busy Moroccan market with bold and bright colors where you will find a collection of unique antiquities. For the home there are lamps, plates, Thuya wood boxes and luxurious hand made rugs. With all sorts of apparel, ornate jewelry, handbags and yes even Fezzes there is something for everyone here to enjoy!

Across from the promenade along the waterfront guests will find Souk-Al-Magreb a small shop with the Moroccan Flag, wine, spices, tea sets and beautiful pottery.
