Michael Giacchino Steps In To Compose Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

There is set to be a big change for the upcoming Star Wars stand-alone movie, Rogue One, originally Alexandre Desplat was set to be the composer for the movie, but due to some recent reshoots delaying the start of the job, Michael Giacchino will now be stepping in to take over the role.

Michael Giacchino has recently worked on the recent Star Trek movie plus Disney movies, The Incredibles, Up, Ratatouille, Cars 2, John Carter, Tomorrowland, Zootopia and Inside Out. He is also scoring the upcoming Marvel movie, Doctor Strange.

He also made a cameo in episode VII: The Force Awakens as a Stormtrooper.
