Experience Axis with New Minimates

Marvel and Diamond Select have released some details on a new series of Marvel themed Minimates which all tie in with the new Axis Crossover event.

The Inversion is upon us, and some of Marvel’s biggest characters have changed their looks, as well as their minds! With villains becoming heroes, heroes becoming villains and everyone getting fabulous costume upgrades, Diamond Select Toys has decided to dedicate their 62nd assortment of Marvel Minimates entirely to the Axis crossover event!

Due out this summer, and exclusively available at comic shops and specialty stores, this all-new assortment of comic-based Minimates features four two-packs:

• Sam Wilson as Captain America vs. Red Onslaught (with transformation to Red Skull)

• Superior Iron Man (with alternate open-face helmet) vs. Apocalypse

• Carnage (with alternate transforming Cletus head) vs. Hobgoblin (with alternate T-shirt chest block)

• Sabretooth vs. Kluh

Each two-inch Minimates mini-figure features 12-14 points of articulation, as well as interchangeable parts and acccessories. Designed by the artists at Art Asylum each 2-pack also comes packaged in a full-color window box.
