Kristen’s Customs…Baby Figment!

Hello again everyone! Today I will be showing you a custom Vinylmation of Baby Figment!

Two tiny wings, eyes big and yellow. Horns of a steer, but a lovable fellow. From head to tail, he’s royal purple pigment. And there, Viola!, you’ve got a Figment!

IMG_20150210_205159_rewindIMG_20150210_205314_rewind This Baby Figment was part of a Figment series that was made by Josh Edwards and showcased at the Imagination Gala in September 2014. Josh had made a series of 9 Figment customs that he was going to have on display at the Imagination Gala. He offered them for sale online before the gala and I knew I wanted to add one of his Figments to my collection. I chose the Baby Figment since I thought it was not only cute, but I loved the rainbow colors in the ears. To me they represented the Rainbow Corridor from the original Image Works, which was located on the second level of the Imagination Pavilion in Walt Disney World’s Epcot Center in the 80s and 90s. This pavilion in its entirety was a favorite of mine since I was a young child. The original Journey into Imagination was always my favorite ride. Figment was also my second favorite character!

Josh always impresses me with the work he does on his customs. I love the coloring on Baby Figment, the painted wings on the back, the yellow sweater he is wearing and the rainbow ears. This Figment really represents my love for the original Imagination Pavilion that I miss.

I hope you enjoyed seeing this custom from my collection! Josh has made various different customs for my daughter and I over the years and I can’t wait to show you more of them! If you want to see more of his work, you can see it all here on his Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/crazy4vinyls.

I hope you enjoyed this weeks column! I look forward to showing you another custom next week!
