Padme Amidala possibly spotted – Disney Infinity 3.0?

There has been quite a wealth of information released regarding Disney Infinity 3.0 and it’s emphasis on Star Wars. Today started with an article and video announcement through Game Informer, which included quite an epic cover spread of not only Star Wars characters, but Marvel and Disney/Pixar as well.  Within that video, many awesome pieces of concept art were revealed and the new figures were shown. There was one thing that stood out to me though and I needed to revisit it.

Leia 1

There was one piece of concept art in particular that showed Princess Leia. You see her in her white dress, her hair in those iconic buns, and posing in that innocent look she had, before we got to know her personality in the movies. Surrounding that image were some notes and images of Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia. There were also three little images that didn’t fit. One of a man with shades wearing a hat, another of a tiny little girl that looks like Anna from Frozen, and the other of what looked very familiar. It was not Princess Leia, but definitely royalty.

Leia 2

Look closer. That totally looks like Padme. Leia has had times where she wore less dress like clothing, but the style of this model doesn’t fit her look. I could be over thinking this, but it stuck out to me like a sore thumb. It could be mission giver or possibly another figure.

Leia 3

She’s slender, wearing her hair back, sticks in her hair, and the holster belt ridding low on her waist. She even has a blaster she is pointing up.

Look familiar now? It makes sense. This round, Disney Infinity 3.0 is female heavy and who wouldn’t want a strong woman like Padme Amidala fighting off battle droids? Plus, a costume change disc could easily make her the Queen of Naboo without an issue!

What do you think? Is that picture the queen herself? If not, could she possibly be in the game as a figure? A mission giver? Let us know!

The “Man wearing shades and a hat” is The Sniper from Team Fortress 2. The artists used him as a reference point for the art style of the game.
