Disney Infinity 3.0 Toy Box TV Live Recap

It’s Friday and Disney took to Twitch to showcase some of the latest Disney Infinity 3.0 gameplay including a more detailed look at the Twilight of the Republic playset, Tomorrowland and Star Wars power discs in the Toy Box plus much more, including an major announcement.

Here is a recap from this weeks show:

  • Allison & Mathew hosted this weeks show as JV was in New York.
  • Mathew ran through the Twilight Of The Republic playset including a battle with General Grevious, space battles and the visiting the planet of Coruscant.
  • During this gameplay footage, we got to see Anakin Skywalker’s and Yoda’s Skill Tree (See below).
  • As the Force power is required during this playset, there are terminals which allow non-force wielding characters to get around this issue with a hack.
  • We got to see some of the space travel between planets including a excellent space battle with Droid ships.
  • Other highlights from Coruscant include seeing the High Council room and Jedi Temple.
  • During the toy box session, we got to see the Tomorrowland & Twilight Of The Republic skydome and terrain power discs, plus General Grevious’s vehicle.
  • We also got to see Anger, Sadness, Fear and Disgust within the Toy Box, who have some different abilities to the playset such as Disgust whipping her scarf, Sadness headbutting and Anger punching.
  • During a loading screen, we can see the Hall of Heroes (Disney), Hall of Super Heroes (Marvel) and Hall Of Galactic Heroes (Star Wars).
  • The team confirmed they will have a pop up booth outside SDCC.
  • Many big Youtubers including Stampy and Evan have been to key Disney locations including Pixar and Lucasfilm to shoot some special promotional videos for Disney Infinity 3.0
  • Some members of the team are in China to deal with the “toys”.
  • There won’t be a show next week due to the July 4th holiday weekend.
