Ant-Man Zen Pinball 2 / FX Review

Just in time for its cinema release, Zen Studios have released their latest Ant-Man DLC for Zen Pinball 2 and simply put, its a lot of fun.  The table is beautifully designed with aspects of the movie interacting with you, both Scott Lang and Hank Pym are found on the table, giving you encouragement and reacting to what is going on within the game.

Zen Pinball is one of the most enjoyable pinball games you can find, it flows very well and Zen Studios do a great job in bringing the franchises onto the tables to make them feel unique, which isn’t easy with a very simple formula that hasn’t changed in years, there are flippers, bumpers, ramps and more.  Yet it still feels as fresh, due to the Ant-Man theme and being a virtual table, its much more interesting due to elements that just couldn’t be included in a real table.

While there are nice little touches from the movie on the table, it isn’t over the top and fits in nicely with the overall experience.

In this video, I’ll share my thoughts on the game and you can get to see the game in action on the PS4.

While playing through the game, new animations kick in which can be slightly distracting but at the same time, make the whole table much more enjoyable as the Ant-Man theme comes into play.  There are also mini games that can be unlocked.

Ant-Man is available on the different Zen platforms and devices including PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Wii U, iOS, and Android.    For this review, I played it on the Playstation 4 and PS Vita, the PS4 version looks so beautiful.  While the Vita version is also a lot of fun to have on the go as its a perfect game to just pick up and have a blast on. Plus if you buy it on PSN, it’ll also work on PS4, PS3 and Vita as well.

If your a pinball fan and enjoyed previous Zen tables, this doesn’t disappoint and I have a blast playing this since its a lot of fun and a great game to just pick up and play for a short time if your on the go, like I did on the Vita or perhaps fancy a full experience on the home consoles like PS4.  There are free trial versions of the table available on the different platforms, so I’d suggest if your interested, go download, have a play and get ready to have a lot of fun.  I know I’ve lost hours since I downloaded it.
