Donald Duck #3 Review

Issue 3 consists of 40 pages of great classic Donald Duck action, this edition comes with two classic stories, “The Siege Of Nothing Atoll” from 1976 and “Garbage In, Garbage Out” from 1949. Also this comic has a special Fantasyland variant cover featuring Donald Duck trying to pull the Sword out the Stone, that I love.

Both stories are completely self contained within the comic, making it perfect for all ages to just pick up and read. “The Siege Of Nothing Atoll” sees Donald Duck team up with his cousin Fethry, to help solve a mystery as to who is stilling Uncle Scrooge’s planes. There is plenty of action and humour in this story with lots of spy equipment at the duo’s disposable. This story is about 90% of the comic and is a lot of fun, that the whole family can enjoy.

“Garbage In, Garbage Out” is a quick two page story with Donald and his nephews, with Donald trying to illegally dump his garbage, which doesn’t turn out well. This is a nice little add on to the comic and its nice to see some of these older strips included for today’s generation of Disney fans and for Donald Duck fans, I’d recommend checking out this comic book.

This comic is priced at $3.99 and available at all good comic book shops.
