No Plans To Bring Kingdom Hearts 1.5 & 2.5 To PS4?

Last year, Square Enix released Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5 remixes on the PS3 and since then, there has been lots of rumours and discussion about these remastered editions heading to the PS4 soon.  But according to a story from an interview Ruliweb did with the director of the Kingdom Hearts, Tetsuya Nomura, there isn’t any plans for that to happen soon.

Ruliweb: It’s been two years since the first official announcement of Kingdom Hearts 3.

Nomura: Usually, most of the reactions from the KH fans and media consist of “Please put [this world] in the game!” (Laughs) Rather than comments on the game system itself, we get requests for “Put this world in, put my world in!” much more. Whichever world is a popular map should determine whether or not the masses will greatly enjoy Kingdom Hearts 3. Recently, we also received a significant increase in requests for the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix and Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Remix to be released on the PS4. Unfortunately, we don’t have any plans for that.

Are you disapointed about this news?  I know I have been hoping both of these remixes made their way to the PS4 but if they were to delay Kingdom Hearts 3 any longer, that would be a major issue.   Though if they could work out a way of putting them onto the streaming network service PSNow, that could be a work around, though there does seem to be some legal issues regarding digital versions of some of the original versions of the game.
