Disney Infinity 3.0 Coming To Apple TV

Today Apple unveiled its latest Apple TV system which is aimed at the family TV with apps, games and entertainment programming, such as Disney movies through iTunes and games. The new system will include a new operating system, tvOS and a new remote control which is similar to the Wii remote with motion control via Bluetooth. Some apps will allow you to use another device like a iPhone or iPod touch as a game controller. It will also allow gaming to flip between devices between gaming sessions.

This will allow many of the Disney apps and games will be available on the system and also during the announcement, Apple said that Disney Infinity 3.0 would be available at launch in October.

The Apple TV will include two versions, a 32GB model will cost $150, and the 64GB model is $200.

We don’t have too much information at the moment but @AppleMaracaibo shared this image showing what looks like the Rise of the Empire playset, rathee than the Toy Box only mode we saw with 2.0 on IOS. It looks like this will also be a full digital experience like the PC version.
