Beauty & The Beast Live Action Version To Feature Original Songs

Details have come out that Disney’s upcoming live-action version of Beauty and the Beast will have songs from their original animated film however it won’t feature songs from the Broadway show.

Composer Alan Menken did an interview with Entertainment Weekly confirming “(None) of the songs from the Broadway made the film,” and added “I would’ve taken ‘If I Can’t Love Her,’ but the problem is that was made for a very specific moment to end Act I of the Broadway show.”

There are also three new songs that have been written for the movie includingNa moment in the new film where Beast sings while watching Belle leave. For this moment, they have written “a new song with Tim Rice.   The other songs include ‘Forever More,’ and there’s also a song called ‘Days in the Sun.’
