Details On New LEGO Avengers Playable Characters

This weekend, TT Game’s Arthur Parsons took to the stage at London’s MCM Comic Con and showed off some new images and gameplay footage of the upcoming LEGO Avengers game which is due out in January on PS4, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii U, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita.

The game includes key moments from both Avengers movies plus flashback scenes from other movies like Thor: Dark World, Iron Man 3 and Captain America: Winter Solider. In the open world, there are also stories and nods from TV shows, Comic Books and much more. There is expected to be further DLC added and announced later.

Some great new options include the ability to team up every character with another character for a team up move, though not all the moves are unique. There will be over 250 playable characters within the game, which is the largest amount of characters playable in any LEGO game, with over 100 characters not included in the last game, Marvel Super Heroes.

Included in this selection are: Thanos, Jessica Jones, Retired Agent Carter, Batroc, Daredevil, Devil Dinosaur, Iron Fist, Squirrel Girl, Luke Cage and many more.
