Pin Trader Delight Review #1

Today Ive decided what is better than to do a Pin Trader Delight review…  So I’m going to discuss my opinions on the most recent PTD set!  This set contains Dinah, Oaken, Prince Phillip, and Otto.

My favorite out of the set, is Oaken being a Frozen collector.  Oaken’s facial expression is identical to the one in the movie, which is often left out on many pins.  Another thing I also enjoy about this PTD is that there are only 4 Oaken pins, and I feel that Oaken is often under rated since he is only in the movie for a short scene.  Overall, this pin is a hit for me!

Next up we have Dinah.  Dinah is without a doubt my second favorite in the set, with the eyes looking down at the ice cream hoping to get into it.  One thing I feel Disney messes up on PTD’s often is the kind of ice cream with the character, where it is just a basic mug or cone.  However this PTD contains just the right colors to match Dinah perfectly, without either Dinah or the ice cream standing out too much.  Overall, this pin is a hit for me!

For the 3rd PTD of the set, we have Prince Phillip.  Im just going to state it here, I hate this pin, and I will not be adding this to my collection.  Phillip’s arm does not look to proper size, because if you look after the bend it simply looks way to small.  Another thing I dislike about this pin, is the way Phillip is looking at the ice cream.  Phillip looks like he is in love with the ice cream, and I’m not sure I like that.  Overall, this pin is not a hit for me!

The final PTD I’m reviewing today is Otto.  Otto was done very well in my opinion with the exception of one thing.  Otto’s ice cream is almost just a little too small, and I wish they were to just have straw that Otto is sucking the milkshake through.  Over all this pin is a maybe for me, and I’m undecided if I will or will not be adding this to my collection.
