Early Details From The Kingdom Hearts Premier Theater Event

Today, Disney and Square Enix held a special Kingdom Hearts Premier Theater event as part of the D23 Expo Japan, at the event some early details and trailers were released of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts video games including:

  • Kingdom Hearts 3
  • Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
  • Kingdom Hearts X Chi  (PC Game)
  • Kingdom Hearts Unchained X (Mobile Game)

The event lasted for over an hour and a half, featured information on all the upcoming games plus special appearances, including King Mickey.

Trailers were shown for both the upcoming console games, Kingdom Hearts 3 and 2.8 HD Remix, though no details were shared about a release date.  There was also reveals of new Heartless and Nobodies enemies coming to the game plus a little display on the Attraction Flow plus the trailer featured Sora, Riku, Kairi, Namine, Roxas, Axel, Xion, Terra, Aqua and Ventus.

Kingdom Hearts X Chi is a PC browser game will see a new world, Beast’s Castle added to the game from November 5th.   This world features characters from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast as the setting, contains story developments that will have your eyes glued to the screen.   Currently this game is only available in Japan.

For the Unchained Key mobile game, it was announced that they will be adding a special event called ‘Everybody Match with Mickey’ which starts on November 3rd.  Where users can collect event coins for the chance to get King Mickey avatar and status-boosting medals.   This app is also still only available in Japan.

Expect to learn more about the latest Kingdom Hearts games over the coming days and weeks with Disney/Square Enix releasing those trailers to everyone on Wednesday.  Where things might be a little more clearer!
