Details On Latest Star Wars Attractions Coming To Hollywood Studios

Disney have revealed some details on the new Star Wars experiences that will be coming to Walt Disney Worlds Hollywood Studios, which were originally announced at the D23 Expo during the summer. The new experiences will open in early December, which is perfect timing for the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Star Wars Launch Bay will take guests into the Star Wars saga and the upcoming film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, with special exhibits and peeks behind-the-scenes, special merchandise and opportunities to have a meet and greet encounter with Chewbacca and Darth Vader.

Star Tours – The Adventures Continue will be getting a brand new adventure added, featuring action from the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens. During the first month, everyone will experience the new scene, returning to the random scenes after the initial month.

Disney have also announced that the “Star Wars: Path of the Jedi” will feature scenes from the complete Star Wars saga.

And finally the Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, will open in early December, this is a reimagined version of the previous Jedi Training experience which will take younglings to the secret site of an ancient Jedi temple where they will face Darth Vader along with the Seventh Sister – a new villain from the Disney XD series “Star Wars Rebels.”

Disney have also said that due to work beginning next year on the 14-acre Star Wars-themed land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, that Star Wars Weekends will not be taking place.
