Pizza Planet Closing Down For Most Of 2016
The Pizza Planet arcade and restaurant at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios is set to close down for the majority of 2016 from January 19 through to November 7 2016.
Disney haven’t announced many details yet but with the new Toy Story land opening in a different area of Hollywood Studios, with such a long shut down period, it’s likely this building is returning in its current format and could be rebranded, while Pizza Planet moves to the new Toy Story Land.
What do you think of the Pizza Planet closing?
We ate at Pizza Planet this summer during our family’s first visit to Hollywood Studios. We were underwhelmed with the theming. Had pizza, meatball subs, and salads. Food was as expected. Would hope to see more Toy Story theming in its rebirth elsewhere in the park.
It’s not really well themed. If moved to the new section it could become a lot better.
It’s definitely not re-opening as Pizza Planet in that location. Something new. Hopefully they’ll build a Pizza Planet in Toy Story Land!
