Avengers: Infinity War To Unite Over 67 Marvel Characters
The Marvel cinematic universe is set to unify for battle in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, which will see the superheroes unite to take on the greatest threat the world and universe has ever seen.
Directors Joe & Anthony Russo recently spoke with ComicBook.com at Wizarding World New Orleans, about the project, and while they wouldn’t confirm that the Guardians of the Galaxy would be appearing in the two part movie, he did say that fans “will not be disappointed in the amount of characters in the movie.”
They also teased how massive the movie would be,
“We have so many characters we’re dealing with. We’re breaking ground on Avengers: Infinity War. We have a board with 67 characters on it.”
While the Russo brothers have stayed more grounded with previous movies like Captain America: Winter Solider & Civil War, it will be incorporating the cosmic side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that we will learn more about in the upcoming Doctor Strange movie.
With a cast list of over 67 characters, it is very possible we will see the worlds of the Avengers, The Defenders and Guardians of the Galaxy combine to take on Thanos.
Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on May 4, 2018 and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2 is scheduled to be released a year later on May 3, 2019.
