Happy Lunar New Year Event Returns To California Adventure

Disney have announced that they will be bringing back the Happy Lunar New Year Celebration to the Paradise Gardens in Disney California Adventure park from February 5th to 8th. These events will take place between 11am till 5pm.

This event will celebrate time-honored traditions of the Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese cultures while inviting guests of all backgrounds to enjoy the festivities. For those who celebrate, it is the customary time to reflect on the past and step into a new life of hope, prosperity and happiness.

The event will bring in different characters including Mulan, Mushu, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Chip n’ Dale to celebrate the Year of the Monkey. There will also be some special merchandise and authentic food offerings available throughout the event and there will also be some colourful live performers, musicians and local artisans. Also some local community groups will also be performing throughout the day at the Paradise Garden Stage and on the performance corridor outside Paradise Gardens.
