Another Villain Heading To Thor: Ragnarok?

According to Geek.com, Oscar nominated actress Cate Blanchett will be joining the Marvel Universe roster for the third installment of Thor entitled Thor: Ragnarok.

While an official announcement has yet to be made, Mark Ruffalo who will be reprising his role as the Hulk, let this little tidbit slip on the indiewire.com‘s The Playlist “She’s just one of the best, and to have her play a baddie is going to be really exciting”.

No official baddies, except Loki,  have been cast but it is rumored that the classic villain Hela will be making her big screen debut. In the comic lore Hela is the rule of the realms of Hel and Niffleheimand has dominion over souls that were not lost in battle.

Thor: Ragnarok will be opening on November 3rd, 2017.
