X-Force Movie On The Horizon?

What is next for the lovable “Merc with a Mouth”? With Deadpool set to be released in theaters this weekend, star Ryan Reynolds sat down with FILMSTARTS to discuss the latest comic book superhero movie and what the future holds for Deadpool.

“In the future, I think, if we’re doing a bunch more Deadpool movies, we’re gonna really explore the X-Men a lot, and maybe X-Force. X-Force my priority. I really want to get that in.”

Deadpool and X-Force both got their starts in the Marvel comic book series New Mutants, New Mutants #98 and #100 respectively, and they have crossed paths many times since then.
