Daredevil/Punisher Comic Book Series Announced

Marvel have announced a new Daredevil/Punisher comic book series that will be released in March.DDPUNTBDINF2016001-cov-bf8b7

The crossover miniseries will be written by current Daredevil writer Charles Soule with art by Szymon Kudranski and Reilly Brown and will see Matt Murdock come back into conflict with Frank Castle. Intended to tie in with the second season of Marvel’s Daredevil which also sees the two popular characters throw down, the series will first be released digitally in March. The series is the latest in Marvel’s line of digital-first Infinite Comics that are enhanced for digital reading. However, print readers need not worry as the series is set to also be printed in comic book format a month later.

The series will take place within the regular continuity of Marvel comics and will also prominently feature Daredevil’s new partner Blindspot who was introduced in December’s Daredevil #1. Despite this, Soule has assured readers that the series can be read on its own with no knowledge of the current Daredevil series.

Art from the series has also been revealed thanks to Comic Book Resources who first broke the story. Above you can see Reilly Brown’s cover for the series and below you can find a gallery of interior art by Szymon Kudranski.
