UNCLE MILTON’S POPULAR STAR WARS SCIENCE LINE ADDS EIGHT NEW TOYS FEATURING NEW WAYS FOR KIDS TO DISCOVER THE SCIENCE OF STAR WARS!
Uncle Milton continues to expand its popular Star Wars Science line in 2016! Since 2009, the Star Wars Science line has provided kids and Star Wars fans of all ages with unique, innovative toy experiences that incorporate and celebrate different areas of science while making direct connections and parallels between the Star Wars universe and our own world. New items for 2016 will inspire kids to learn about many science areas including electronics, aerodynamics, natural science, astronomy, magnetics, algorithms, and electrical circuits, while the products will feature favorite characters, locations, spacecraft, and technologies from the Star Wars galaxy.
Kylo Ren Mini Lightsaber Lab: Kids can learn about LED lights and how electronics make a lightsaber work as they build their own Kylo Ren mini lightsaber! Once constructed, it lights up just like Kylo Ren’s lightsaber with a pulsing, two stage light-up effect. Ages 6+. SRP $16.99. Available Spring 2016.
Jakku Ant Farm: See the amazing underground world of ants come to life on terrain similar to Jakku, the desert planet from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This special edition version of the classic Ant Farm toy is sleek and futuristic, while also coinciding with Uncle Milton’s 60th Ant-iversary since the launch of the original Ant Farm habitat back in 1956. Kids will learn all about natural science as they watch the fascinating behaviors of ants as they dig tunnels in the sand and build mountains within a memorable scene from the desert planet of Jakku. Includes sand and online code to order live harvester ants online. Ages 6+. SRP $19.99. Available Spring 2016.
Spacecraft Flight Lab: Paper airplanes and the science of flight have just hit a whole new level! The Spacecraft Flight Lab gives kids the chance to build and launch motorized spacecraft featuring popular ships from the Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The unique electric motor charges in seconds and can keep your paper spacecraft flying over a minute long! Kids can change their spacecraft designs and perform different flight experiments as they learn about aerodynamics, flight patterns, environmental factors, and other aspects of flight performance. Includes 4 different spacecraft designs—the Millennium Falcon, X-wing, TIE Fighter, and Star Destroyer! Ages 8+. SRP $24.99. Available Summer 2016.
Kylo Ren Lightsaber Room Light: Kids can learn about how electronics make a lightsaber work as they build and display the distinctive lightsaber belonging to the newest member of the dark side, Kylo Ren. Available Summer 2016.
Force Spinners Magnetic Lab: Use the powerful force of magnetics to launch and control spinning droids. Kids can perform different experiments in magnetics and physics as they learn to control and “Force Push” the droid in different ways. Includes a versatile test platform that works as a friction rail, acceleration ramp, and momentum ramp. Assortment of two different characters—BB-8 and R2-D2. Get both items, connect the test platform together, and create more advanced force challenges. Ages 6+. SRP $24.99. Available Summer 2016.
