Love Pixar? Learn The Science Behind Your Favorite Pixar Movies

What do Buzz Lightyear, Lightning McQueen, and the Incredibles have in common? They, along with countless others, were made by the magicians at the Pixar Animation Studios.

Thanks to the Frankling Institute you can now go behind the scenes to see how Pixar creates the characters and turns them into your favorite movies. From March 12th – September 5th 2016 the Franklin Institute will be hosting a Pixar movie magic exhibit with 40 interactive displays and life-size replicas of some of your favorite characters including Buzz Lightyear, Mike and Sully, Wall-E, and Dory.

There will be hands-on activities such as modeling, animations and set designs.
