Disney World Puts Wrap Around TAM Airline Plane
Disney World and Brazilian Airline TAM have partnered up to put a character wrap on one of their Boeing 767-300s.
It made its debut Monday Morning and is the first Latin American airline to display a Disney Parks wrap. The plane is scheduled to make long distance, international flights and its first trip to central Florida was made Tuesday afternoon at Orlando International Airport.
The aircraft was proclaimed “Plane of Dreams” and was introduced in a event for clients, executives and media. Tinker Bell appeared, waved her wand and the curtains were removed to reveal the plane. Later the four Disney characters that are portrayed on the plane; Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy, came out and mingled with guests.
The wrap covers the plane’s fuselage and tail. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are seen riding a roller coaster, followed by Donald Duck and Goofy. The Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella Castle appears on the tail. The Walt Disney World logo type appears on the midsection of the aircraft.
