Rumor: Disney Parks Seasonal Pricing Coming Soon

It is being reported to me that Walt Disney World and Disneyland will soon be switching to tiered seasonal ticket pricing. While Shanghai Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood have already switched to this style, this has been a rumor for Disney Parks for a little while now.

I was specifically told that Disney World would switch to Tiered seasonal Ticket pricing on their one day tickets only effective 2/28/16, which seems to be an accurate date for a change to happen since the resort has raised its ticket prices slowly every Late February to late March.

With Tiered Seasonal ticket pricing, prices can be higher or lower for tickets depending on the season you plan to visit. For example, Off season would be months like September and January whereas Peak Season would be holidays and summer time.

Although an official announcement has not been made by the Disney Parks, I have been told to expect an announcement for at least Disneyland regarding this sometime soon.

How do you feel about parks switching to tiered seasonal ticket pricing?
