Marvel Comics To Release Star Wars: Rogue One Prequel Comics

On March 18th, Chicago’s C2E2 convention kicked off with the Diamond Retailer breakfast and a Marvel announcement. Marvel Entertainment announced that starting in October they will be releasing a three issue prequel comic series that will lead to the December theater release of Star Wars: Rogue One.

As of this time no story line or writers have been announced. Rogue One is set to be released in December 16th, 2016 and will star Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, Forest Whitaker and will tell the story of the Rebel Alliance’s mission of stealing the plans for the Death Star.
