Muppet’s Courtyard Comes To Hollywood Studios

muppet-vision-3d-gallery00There have been many changes to Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios recently and with the upcoming closure of the Street of America area, the area around Muppet Vision 3D is rumoured to be rebranded, the Muppet’s Courtyard.  With the Muppets Vision 3D attraction and Muppet themed water fountain, this does show that the Muppets won’t be going anywhere for the time being.   The area also includes Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano.

Recently the Toy Story themed Pizza Planet restaurant closed and is set to reopen in the fall, adding more fuel to the rumours that the restaurant will also be themed to the Muppets, tying in with the “Muppet’s Courtyard”.

The Streets of America attractions such as Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show, and the Honey I Shrunk The Kids Playground attractions plus the food outlets in the area such as Studio Catering Co. and High Octane Refreshments, will be closing on April 2nd, to make way for the new Star Wars Land.
