Sense Of Africa Tour Coming To The Animal Kingdom Lodge

Details have been coming out that Disney is set to offer a new tour at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, which will allow guests to get a close-up experience with the animals and it is called the “Sense of Africa”.  The tour will be 3 and a half hours long and begin with breakfast at Boma, just before the restaurant opens and will feature some exclusive dishes, along with the restaurant’s regular breakfast buffet.  During breakfast,  a cast member from Africa will tel some stories and details on the restaurant.

Following breakfast, guests will head out on a safari truck to go backstage to meet some of the animals , which could include giraffe, ostrich and okapi.

The “Sense of Africa” tour costs $249.99 per person, however it is only available to guests over the age of 10 years old.  There is also a 15% discount is available for Annual Passholders and DVC Members.  Each tour group have just 12 guests and the tour is available on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Reservations are expected to open on April 5th.
