Disney Claims Dates for Future Films; Announces New Films

Disney has given fans a sneak peak at their development pipeline as far as their future live action film projects and has confirmed a few in the process.

The studio has confirmed a Live action Cruella movie starring Emma Stone. Sequels have been planned for The Jungle Book and Maleficent with Angelina Jolie reprising her role.

They have also confirmed Ava DuVernay’s adaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’s “A Wrinkle in Time”, “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms”, a Tinker Bell project starring Reese Witherspoon, Jungle Cruise starring Dwayne Johnson and Dumbo with Tim Burton directing.

Although the studio has claimed release dates, they have not said which movie will be released on which date.

Here are the dates:

UNTITLED DISNEY FAIRY TALE (Live Action) previously dated on 12/22/17 moves up to 7/28/17
UNTITLED DISNEY FAIRY TALE (Live Action) now dated on 4/6/18
UNTITLED DISNEY LIVE ACTION now dated on 8/3/18
UNTITLED DISNEY LIVE ACTION now dated on 12/25/18
UNTITLED DISNEY FAIRY TALE (Live Action) now dated on 12/20/19

It is more likely that the Jungle Book and Mary Poppins sequels will grab one of this spots as they are further along in development.
