Han Solo: A Star Wars Story Begins Production

We have a young Han Solo! Alden Ehrenreich of Hail Caesar! has been cast as the new face of everyone’s favorite nerf-herder.

Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the Han Solo prequel story will the story of a young Han before his days in the rebellion. The smuggler’s loyal co-pilot, Chewbacca, will also be appearing in the film, which will hit theaters on May 25, 2018. Although filming has yet to start, Chris Miller tweet out a photo in honor of May the Fourth showcasing the classic DL-44 pistol, which has been Han’s weapon of choice.
