Louis the Gator makes Friendship Faire Debut

Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire has quickly grown to be a special place in fan’s hearts as the brand new castle show at Magic Kingdom in Disney World.

But notably one friend was missing.

Louis the jazz loving, trumpet playing gator from Disney’s “Princess and the Frog” did not make his castle stage show debut the same day as his Bayou friends. Louis was anticipated as he was included in the concept art shared by DisneyParks Blog before the show debut.

This was done in part of Disney World’s removal of gator and croc references from all parks in respect to the Graves family, who lost their young child in that tragic gator incident. Removals included Jungle cruise croc and gator jokes and louis having his castle stage show debut delayed.

But today, Louis was finally able to play with the big boys and join his bayou pals in the show and fans rejoiced as the final member of the show joined in.
