OVERALL THOUGHTS

REVENGE OF THE DUCK AVENGER PART 2 OF 2:

As I stated last month , I am not a fan of this version of the Duck Avenger but this latest part translated by the wonderful Jonathan Gray was laugh out loud funny and even had a car chase for good measure. I cannot wait to see what other Duck Avenger adventures IDW has planned to promote the book’s release next month.

Off Topic : While I am a fan of Scarpa’s work, I kind of hunger for more artists to be featured in the IDW comics as the main stories. It might happen , I’m not sure but I kind of want a break from Scarpa for a bit.

NOBODY’S HOME:

This is a very interesting story featuring a character I used to hate ( Fethry) and a character I barely knew until the IDW comics introduced him into my life ( Neighbour Jones). While some may think it would be a bad team-up. I found it was a very good one since both people are people that Donald hates. One for his zany beliefs and the other due to his mean nature.

I loved how Fehtry somehow managed to ruin Jones’ plans by helping him out as Donald watches from his window as if he planned all of this to happen. Can’t wait to see more Neighbour Jones in the future.
