Review: SDCC ’16 Exclusive Baymax & Capt. America Tsum Tsum & GIVEAWAY!

UPDATE: Congrats to Nikki Thompson and Kristen for winning this contest. I will be contacting you guys via email. Thank you to everyone who entered.

As we wind down from San Diego Comic Con last weekend, I wanted to take a look at two of the fun exclusives that our friends over at JAKKS Pacific released. Luckily, even though I wasn’t able to make the event, they sent me over a set to review… which I will be giving away (see info below). So, without further adieu, here are the Metallic Baymax and Captain American Tsum Tsum figures.

These limited edition, metallic Tsum Tsum are the same size as the large Tsum Tsum figures in JAKKS Pacific’s Disney and Marvel assortments. I hesitate to call these vinyls, because they are lighter than the regular vinyls and appear to actually be a metallic plastic component.

Here is a closer look at Baymax.

And here is Captain America.

I really like the paint job on these figures, and the metallic shine is appropriate for these two characters. I also think the packaging is great, and specific to both the figure and the brand.

This actually marks the debut of the Marvel line of Tsum Tsum, with Mystery Stack Packs similar to the Disney line also in the process of hitting store shelves. The Disney line of Tsum Tsum is a hot seller with retailers, and currently on it’s Series 3 release.
