Patrick Stewart Says The Next Wolverine Movie Could Be His Last

While it might not be a huge surprise with the most recent X-Men movies not featuring Patrick Stewart as Professor X, it looks like the next Wolverine solo movie could also be the last movie to feature Patrick Stewart.

Recently ITV spoke with the actor and said “I would imagine this is probably the end of this franchise for me. But the thing about science fiction and fantasy is that you can never, ever say it’s the end, it’s over.”

It could be possible for them to use a CGI version of the character, but with FOX already rebooting the series with the younger actors like James McAvoy in the past, with many of the original actors getting older, it looks like the next Wolverine movie might be an end of the era.
