Has Zendaya’s Spider-Man: Homecoming Role Been Revealed?

It looks like we now know who will be playing Spider-Man’s love interest, Mary Jane Watson, in the upcoming “Spider-Man: Homecoming”, it will be Zendaya, who is more known to Disney fans as the star of “Shake It Up” and “K.C. Undercover”.

TheWrap has reported that she will be playing the romantic lead against Tom Holland, though nothing has been confirmed by Sony or Marvel yet.  Zendaya was announced as appearing in the movie in March and was set to play a character called “Michelle”, which many believe to be a codename.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is set to be released in cinemas in July 2017 and will be set during Spider-Man’s time in high school and is expected to take place after Spider-Man made his MCU debut in Civil War.
