Disney To Add Buses From Walt Disney World Theme Parks To Disney Springs

Disney will now be offering bus transportation from the Walt Disney World theme parks to Disney Springs from August 28th. These buses will run every 15 minutes from 4:00pm until 11:00pm, or until 2 hours after the park closes (depending on which one is moving).

This free service is only operating from the theme parks to Disney Springs, guests wanting to go the opposite direction will need to change buses at a resort.

Our Take:

It makes a lot of sense to allow guests to travel to Disney Springs after being in the parks, especially if guests are doing a half day at the parks, or when finished at the Animal Kingdom.

I can’t believe it’s taken this long. To have to leave a park and go find a connection from a resort was an hour and a half out of the day.

Still, it’s dumb it doesn’t work both ways, going from Disney Springs back to the parks. If you’re there early in the morning for Bippity Boppity Boutique, and want to take your little girl to Magic Kingdom, you have to swing by a resort? So dumb.
