Disney Cosplay Invades Toronto At Fan Expo Canada 2016

Fan Expo Canada is here, well was here by the time you see this article. For those who do not know, Fan Expo Canada is an annual convention in Toronto, Ontario, Canada that has slowly become one of the largest conventions in North America. As usual, there are bound to be people dressed up as characters from their favourite franchises. This article will cover costumes that fit the House of Mouse and its many projects.

On the first day, I only encountered one Disney cosplay, a lovely Kim Possible.

The second day had much more in terms of Disney cosplays ranging from Uncle Stan from the hit television series Gravity Falls to various Belles, Rapunzel and Mother Gothel, Hipster Ariel and the ever lovable Mad Hatter.

One of my favourites is this cosplay featuring Studio Ghibli’s Porco Rosso.

Day Three had a few princesses, a burly five dozen eggs chugging prince wanna-be, an under-rated superhero  and a wicked devil woman, take a look below:

 

Day Four had only Ariel, Malificent, Rapunzel, Flynn, Aladdin, Anna, Kristoff and Jafar lurking about the convention floor since the last day is mostly full of people in their regular clothes, not too much costumes unfortunately.
