Walt Disney World To Being Scanning Children’s Fingerprints Upon Entry
Disney is set to start scanning fingers of children 3- to 9-years-old when they enter the parks at Walt Disney World, to help Disney combat ticket fraud and shared tickets.
Adults and older children have been scanning their finger prints upon entry for years, as they originally got introduced over a decade ago.
And for parents who feel uncomfortable with their children’s fingers being scanned, the parents will be able to do it instead.
Our Take:
If it can help bring down ticket fraud, then it is a good idea, however trying to get small children to use the scanning device upon entry might be tricky and if parents do have an issue with it, Disney have thought ahead with an alternative option.
What do you think of this?
How does that help with ticket fraud again…?
