Diamond Select’s Marvel Comic Variants at NYCC

Next week, New York Comic Con, one of the largest conventions here in the US, will commence at the Javits Center in Manhattan. A lot of companies will have special exclusives for the event, from toys to collectibles to comics. Diamond Select, the company behind the very popular Minimates line of toys, will have two special Minimates variant editions of two Marvel comic books for sale at the booth. Here are the details.

New variant covers on Doctor Strange #1 and Champions #1 each reimagine their main characters in the Minimates mini-figure style, as drawn by designer Barry Bradfield, and they will be available through various retailers on the show floor, as well as at booth 1644.
