Tsum Tsum Tuesday: JAKKS Pacific’s Disney Series 4

Last week’s Tsum Tsum Tuesday took a look at the Disney Tsum Tsum Series 3 Mystery Stack Packs. This week is a preview of several elements making up Disney Tsum Tsum Series 4, some of which are already showing up on store shelves this fall. Let’s take a look at what JAKKS Pacific sent over for us to look at.

Nightmare Before Christmas Seasonal Gift Pack (Walgreens Exclusive)

First up is the special NBX gift pack, which is gracing the shelves of Walgreens stores this Halloween season. Featuring six large figures, two Glow in the Dark (jack and Sally) and four regular (Zero, Lock, Shock, and Barrel), there is no word on if all or some of the figures themselves are exclusive, or if it’s just this multi-pack. Regardless, they have been hard to track down, as some Walgreens aren’t even carrying them.

Tsum Tsum Color Pop!

This first round of Color Pop! figures feature some of our Disney favorites in a monotone motif. In addition to the 3pk assortments that are released retail-wide, there are a bunch of exclusive pieces: the Mickey, Minnie (TRU Exclusive), and Stitch (Walmart exclusive) carrying cases each come with an exclusive large Color Pop! figure, Walmart is getting an exclusive blind bag series of large Color Pop! figures (including the Super Rare large Golden Stitch), and the rare Black and White Mickey and Minnie figures will be randomly packaged in mystery packs. Here is a look at the Color pop! checklist, as well as a closer look at some of the characters from the 3pk assortments JAKKS sent over.

I really like the Color Pop! series, and I have already been trying to track them down, as stores like Toys “R” Us already have them on their shelves. Sadly, I have yet to find the Walmart exclusive bling bag series to try for those exclusives.

Series 4 Regular Series 9pk Assortments

The 9pk Assortments have been popular in the past, and this time around the possibility of getting a very rare Black & White figures amps that up. Luckily, in this assortment that I got, I ended up getting the large Black & White Minnie, as well as a small Angel figure, which has been elusive up until now. Also new in this series are Captain Hook, Fairy Godmother, Hans, and Jack… so this is a great assortment to have received.

Overall, this is yet another strong Disney Tsum Tsum Series from JAKKS Pacific. Do I feel they are putting too much out for us collectors? It’s possible, but at the cheaper price points than Vinylmation, Funko Pop! Vinyls, plush Tsum Tsum, etc… I am not minding it as much as I thought I would be. Moreover, my fristration lies with not being able to find them in stores to complete my collections… but in my neck of the woods, they are very popular.

Are you collecting the JAKKS Pacific Disney Tsum Tsum? What do you think of the lineup for Season 4? Will you get delving into the Color Pop! waters? Please share your thoughts below.

Hopefully by next week I can track more of the Color Pop! assortment down so I can bring a fun review to you guys. Until then, have a wonderful Tsum Tsum Tuesday!

Travis you have got to be the luckiest guy out there. I have been collecting the vinyls Tsum Tsums for months now, and have opened nearly a dozen of the 9-Packs from series 4 in the past 2 weeks. I haven’t gotten 1 new character in any of the mystery pouches from series 4. I got multiple Queen of Hearts, Eyeore, Figaro and Gus. Pretty disappointing that they would fill mystery packs with figures that collectors most likely got in Series 1 and 2.

I found Marvel Series 2 to be much the same. I probably opened 20 packs of that. Many of the ones I got were filled with Iron Man, Dr. Strange and Spider Man. I did get a Hawkeye, Nick Fury and Black Panther as well, so those new characters helped complete my sets, but I found the mystery pouches to be quite disappointing so far.

The odds must be astronomical that you would go 3 for 3 in your pouches.

Still love the product and the price point as I collected Vinylmations for some time and they just got to expensive to put sets together. Thanks for the info.

  • Marvel Series 2 was a gambit for me, in all honesty, but getting one Silver Capt. America was nice. Getting both B&W Minnie and Angel in the 9pk was indeed lucky, I will admit.

I hope my “luck” continues when I find that Walmart Color Pop! mystery assortment, as I want that Golden Stitch.
