Disneyland To Move Security Checkpoints To Include Downtown Disney

It is being reported by the OC Register, that Disney will be moving one of the security checkpoints at Disneyland, to move Downtown Disney within the secured area.  This move is expected to take place before the end of the year.

“We are moving the location of our bag-check and metal detectors to the point where guests enter our property through Downtown Disney and the Mickey & Friends parking structure,” a Disneyland Resort spokeswoman said.

Two more additional checkpoints will also be added, one will be found between ESPN Zone and Rainforest Cafe and the other between ESPN Zone and Earl of Sandwich restaurant. Officials said these would likely service guests coming from the hotels.
