During a investor meeting in Europe, EA’s CFO Blake Jorgensen spoke about the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront sequel, saying the fans were disapointed with the amount of content, saying  “If there was criticism, they just wanted more.  So we’re taking that criticism to heart as we build the next game and trying to address any of the issues that they had.”

While the game sold over 14 million copies and has seen many expansion packs released in the past 12 months including ones based on Jakku, Outer Rim, Bespin and the Death Star plus two further expansions are coming in December based on Rogue One, including a special VR mode.  The game was considered to be lacking content at launch, especially as it didn’t feature a single player campaign.

He also said the Battlefront sequel is a “much bigger, much more exciting Battlefront.”

The sequel to the massive hit, Battlefront, is due to be released in the fall of 2017 and will focus on “the new movies,” such as Episode VII & VIII, so would feature characters like Kylo Ren, Rey, Finn and classic characters like Luke Skywalker.
