A Creature Featurette from “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”

rogue-one-new-image-39-600x245 With Rogue One: A Star Wars Story‘s opening weekend just a few days away, you would think Disney is done with their pre-release featurettes. However, Disney has released another featurette, this time focusing on the creatures that made up the original trilogy. Since Rogue One takes place between Episode III and IV, the film needed the same aura as the original films. The Force Awakens felt like a Star Wars film, but it had elements that made it feel more futuristic and updated than its predecessors. Now, fans will get a chance to see the thought and detail that went into creating and re-creating some of the creatures for Rogue One. Keeping with the Star Wars tradition (something that even The Force Awakens did), this new Star Wars story utilizes little CGI, instead opting to create suits for performers to wear.
